JOURNEY WITH “THE BOOK JUMPER”: TRANSITION TO HIGH SCHOOL CEREMONY 13.06.2024

In this year’s Turkish class, our students traveled into different worlds, saying, "We are all book jumpers. Books help us develop our imagination and creativity." As they bid farewell to middle school, they prepared for the transition ceremony with Mechthild Glaser's "The Book Jumper." Inspired by this book, they developed their analysis, text production, and presentation skills while preparing the text for the "Transition to High School Ceremony" and designing stage decorations with their teachers. Our students realized they could apply the lessons from "The Book Jumper" to all areas of life. They proudly presented the text they created, combining it with the individual experiences they gained during their middle school years. We wish our children, who have grown up before our eyes, a successful and happy high school life. We hope they embark on new adventures filled with books and remain open to continuous learning in their new journey!
