A VISIT TO THE PINAR MILK FACTORY 21.02.2020

Our Grade 3 students visited the Pınar Milk Factory to better understand the systems created by human beings in line with the unit “How We Organize Ourselves”. During their visit, our students observed how milk is obtained and preserved as well as how dairy products such as cheese, yoghurt etc. are processed. Then, they learned how those products are packed and distributed. At the end of the visit, our students asked the questions they prepared beforehand to the officials in the factory. After returning to the school, they drew pictures and wrote texts to explain the system they saw in the factory and decided on the key concepts, related concepts and learner profile attributes they observed during their visit. Finally, they prepared presentations and carried out assessment tasks about this fun and productive process.
