WRITING A BOOK TO RAISE AWARENESS 07.05.2021

Our Grade 9 student Cansu Kucuk carried out an MYP mini personal project entitled “Protection, Future and Sustainability of Water” and wrote an authentic novel to raise awareness in our society and around the world about climate change and global warming and explain how to use water correctly and economically. While writing her novel, she chose “Globalization and Sustainability” as the MYP global context and the 14th goal of UNSD, which is “Life Below Water”. “Neera”, the name of Cansu’s novel, means “pure water” in the Ancient Sanskrit. Upon completing her novel, Cansu sold her book and used the money to donate 70 saplings to TEMA foundation. Congratulations to Cansu for carrying out this wonderful project with the aim of raising awareness and sensitivity, and wish her a continued success!
