WE COMMEMORATED ATATURK WITH LOVE AND LONGING AT ELC 08.11.2024

On November 8th, Friday, we commemorated Atatürk as the entire ELC with emotional and meaningful events. On Friday, November 8, the whole ELC commemorated Atatürk with a ceremony full of emotion and meaning. As part of the November 10 Atatürk Remembrance Day, each class prepared elaborate works reflecting their love and respect for Atatürk. While our ELC1 classes designed a heart full of love for Atatürk, our ELC2 classes expressed their feelings with their drawings answering the question “What would you like to say if Atatürk were with us today?”. Our ELC3 classes made colorful flowers symbolizing their longing. All these special works gathered around our Atatürk bust and revealed the love coming from the hearts of our little ones. Throughout the day, we commemorated Atatürk's life and values together by listening to Atatürk songs, watching special videos, and reading carefully selected books. These sincere shares reminded us once again of the importance of keeping Atatürk's legacy alive.
