TIME TUNNEL EXHIBITION MESMERIZED THE VISITORS 13.12.2021

Our PS students looked at different lifestyles from past to present while covering the transdisciplinary theme entitled “Where We Are in Place and Time”. Grade 1 students inquired into the changes in their environment as well as themselves while covering the main idea of “human and environment changes in time”. Grade 2 students looked at the vehicles and travel conditions from past to present while covering the main idea of “our lives and travel conditions change in time”. Grade 3 students researched the discoveries and inventions of the past, present and the 21st century while covering the main idea of “discoveries and inventions affect our lifestyle”. At the end of the unit, they came up with an invention of their own to generate solutions to global problems. Grade 4 students looked at the significant events of the past and present, and explored their effects on today while covering the main idea of “learning about the ones lived before makes us understand today and tomorrow”. Also, they carried out unit-related activities in music, ICT, art and PE class.

As a result of all studies conducted throughout the unit, a “Time Tunnel” was made with the request from our students. At the tunnel, students from each grade level presented their work related to the unit. On Friday, December 10, our students and teachers visited the exhibition together. Our school community might also visit the exhibition this week.
