THEY SANG THE SONG "NEW YEAR" IN SIGN LANGUAGE 26.12.2022

Our 1st grade students study the central idea of "Signs and symbols help us organize our lives" within the scope of the "How We Organize Ourselves" transdisciplinary unit. In this context, they questioned sign language. They studied the usage of sign language in Turkish and also in different languages. In addition, the students of the Mathematics and Competitions OSP of the high school department of our school came together with our 1st grade students in the Little Theatre as part of the "The Language of Silence" project they were involved in. After our high school students gave information about sign language, they taught our students to sing the song "New Year" in sign language.

We would like to thank all the high school students, teachers and management team who contributed to our event, which was very enjoyable. Our students will sing this song as the action of our unit to all their friends in primary school.
