SUCCESS IN MATHS COMPETITIONS HELD BY THE UNIVERSITY OF WATERLOO, CANADA 05.05.2018

The results of the Fryer-Galois-Hypatia and Euclide Mathematics Competitions, which where held on April 12 and 13, 2018, have been announced. The Euclide Mathematics Contest was assessed out of 100 marks while FGH Contests were assessed out of 40 marks. Students who placed first at school received their medals while others were given certificates of participation or excellence according to their exam results. Beril Enbatan from Grade 9, Doğa Duran and Ece Lara Taş from Grade 10, Efe Çalık from Grade 11 and Ege Ergür from Grade 12 placed first in their levels by scoring 29, 23, 26, 61, respectively. Beril Enbatan also ranked in the 25th percentile worldwide and received a certificate of excellence.
