StRanGErS TALKING ABOUT THEIR PROJECTS ON INSTAGRAM LIVE COLLECTED DONATIONS FOR THE IŞIKKENT FOREST 03.06.2021

The members of the “StRanGErS” collected 2,520 sapling donations for Işıkkent Forest through a live broadcast on their Instagram account (@iek_sosyal_etki_yaratanlar) on Monday, May 31. They hosted Tunc Soyer, the Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality; Cem Seymen, a Journalist, TV Boardcaster and Economist; Selcuk Borovali, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of DB Tarımsal Enerji; and Yasemen Bilgili, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aegean Forest Foundation, in their live broadcast and discussed recycling, waste management, effective use of resources and protection of green areas from drought with their guests. 2,520 saplings collected during the broadcast will be planted in the Işıkkent Forest, to be grown in Hamzahocali Village in Bergama, Izmir. Our students made us very proud by taking meaningful steps for tomorrow and raising awareness on the abovementioned issues. Congratulations to StRanGErS for this successful project, their efforts and exemplary behaviour, and thanks to Tunc Soyer, Cem Seymen, Selcuk Borovali, Yasemen Bilgili and everyone who supported our students with their donations.
