SOCIAL SCIENCES DEBATE 30.10.2017

Grade 7 students held a debate on “should the press be free or censored?” in line with their Social Sciences unit “Communication and Human Relations”. We experienced very challenging and fun moments during the debate. At the end of the debate, the group which defended “the press should be free” won; however, the data and messages given by both groups were quite informative and significant. By means of this activity, we addressed the importance of the “Freedom of the Press”, which is one of the things we acquired thanks to the republic, again.
