SHOPPING FROM SCHOOL CANTEEN 11.01.2024

In the second inquiry step of our unit, our students discovered some methods related to the concept of "budget". In their classes, they learned how to manage their pocket money and plan their savings and expenses. They brought certain amount of pocket money from home and shopped in the Middle School canteen. They noted the information about the products they bought while shopping on their worksheets. In this worksheet where we designed our budget, they discovered how much money they could spend and how much they could save weekly, monthly and yearly. They showed their expenses and savings in fraction expressions. They made their pocket money plans for the next year. They had the opportunity to apply what they learned about budgeting and being a conscious consumer.
