PREHISTORIC ORIGINS AND THE LONG JOURNEY OF HUMANKIND 06.11.2024

Associate Professor Dr. Zehra Akdemir Veryeri, visited our school to give a talk entitled "Prehistoric Firsts and Humanity's Long Journey" to our 3rd-grade students. In this presentation, which took us on a journey through human history from prehistoric times to the present, she explained the biological and cultural evolution of humans by discussing the concepts of primates, hominids, and Homo sapiens. With her narrative progressing along a timeline, Veryeri conveyed the development of the human species over millions of years and the impact of environmental conditions on this process, making the evolutionary process understandable and engaging while enhancing our students' historical awareness.
