PRACTICAL SKILLS ACQUIRED DURING OUR PARENT EFFECTIVENESS TRAINING 29.03.2024

This year's second Parent Effectiveness Training (PET) lasted four sessions and was delivered by our Guidance and Counselling Coordinator Gülin Memiş, who is also a certified PET instructor. During the training, our parents learned the skills to communicate effectively with their children, understand them and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner. Along with the theoretical knowledge they acquired, our parents participated in activities to transfer their knowledge to daily life. At the end of the training, which was enriched with various examples, our parents gained effective communication skills, improved themselves in conflict resolution and received certificates for their participation. We hope that our parents benefited greatly from the training and became aware of the important skills to solve problems in collaboration with their children.
