ONLINE MEETING WITH EMRE ORHUN 15.12.2021

As part of their 3rd unit, which was covered in English B class and entitled as “Human Ingenuity”, Grade 11 DP students met online with Emre Orhun, a famous artist living in Lyon. Our students asked him questions such as ‘Should art be beautiful?’, ‘For a long-time art has been considered an essential part of all culture in the world. However, nowadays people's values have changed, and we went to consider science, technology and business more important than arts. What do you think are the causes of this? What can be done to draw people’s attention to art?’ while developing global awareness as well as their ATL skills. We thank Emre Orhun very much for his valuable contributions!
