NEBIL OZGENTURK ATTENDED OUR CELEBRATIONS FOR MAY 19 20.05.2021

Nebil Ozgenturk, our guest in May 19 Commemoration of Ataturk, Youth and Sports Day celebrations, explained how a few people created a huge country and emphasized why grace and elegance were important for politics, arts, sports and science as well as style. Then, he shared sections and sequences from his books and documentaries on Ataturk. After stating that there was always hope for youth, which would develop through reading, researching, inquiring and feeling; he read Atilla Ilhan’s poem entitled “Mustafa Kemalim”. While finalizing his speech, Mr. Ozgenturk said, “Luck is an important factor but what you want and aim is more important” and added, “it is in our hands to choose love over violence, freedom over pressure and quality over ignorance, to be conscious and to respect nature, women and kids”. At the end of the event, he celebrated this special day by saying, “There are millions of people who enthusiastically keep Ataturk’s principles and the spirit of May 19 alive and we are one of them – we have voice, courage and power and therefore, we are full of hope!” We thank Nebil Ozgenturk very much for his valuable contributions.
