MYP MINI PERSONAL PROJECT EXHIBITION 10.02.2020

On Friday, February 7 Middle school students were displaying their IBMYP Mini Personal Projects they have been working on for 4 months. The aim of the Project exhibition was to celebrate the experience which has been gained during this process, demonstrate innovative ideas, get inspired by the ideas of others, reflect again on how their projects could contribute in the future to the needs of the 21st century and who could benefit from them. Students had an opportunity to listen to the guest speaker Selçuk Borovalı who focused on one of the UN Development Sustainable Goals- Goal 13: “Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts”, provided various examples of the Paris Climate Agreement and actions of a young activist Greta Thunberg; and encouraged the Middle school community to start a long term raising awareness activity the result of which will be shared through the letter to Greta Thunberg.
