LIBRARY SUNSET EVENT: AN EVENING FULL OF BOOKS 11.04.2025

We had an unforgettable “Library Sunset Event” with our 4th-grade students. The event began with an energetic Scavenger Hunt, where all students took part in following library-themed clues, discovering fun and creative ways to access books and knowledge. Afterward, the students participated in various workshops in rotating groups: In the Exlibris Design workshop, students created their own personalized bookplates, adding a special touch to their books. During the Coding sessions, they explored how to produce with technology. And in the Relay Games held in the gym, they experienced the joy of teamwork and movement. In the evening, after enjoying a meal together, students had a short break in the garden, followed by lively music and dance activities in the small theater. The library sessions continued with Kamishibai (a traditional Japanese storytelling art), where students were enchanted by magical tales. They also had the opportunity to make their own creations and build a personal connection with books through activities such as Mini Book Making, Bookmark Design, and a quiet reading time known as DEAR Time (Drop Everything And Read). An evening spent with books turned into a beautiful memory, leaving lasting impressions in every heart.
