LEND A HELPING HAND FOR ADA 14.04.2021

Our Grade 6 student Zeynep Senocak focused on “Healthy Individuals”, which is one of the sustainable development goals, in her MYP personal project and wrote a story book for children. Zeynep also aimed to support the campaign for Ada, who is a SMA patient, by writing the book entitled “Ada’nın Elinden Tutalım” (“Let’s Hold Ada’s Hand”). SMA is a genetic disease and unfortunately, its treatment is very expensive. Zeynep believed that something could be done to help Ada recover from this disease and planned her project accordingly. She aims to sell her books during Ada’s live broadcast, send the books to village schools and have the money directly transferred to Ada’s bank account. Also, Zeynep thinks that if the money needed for the treatment can be collected by April 23, it will be a wonderful children’s day gift for Ada and says, “Every book you buy will be a huge step for Ada. Would you like to help Ada walk and run freely?”. Zeynep will attend the live broadcast, which will be streamed by Ada’s parents on Instagram, to sell her book and help Ada for her treatment.
