INTERDISCIPLINARY ACTIVITY AT EPHESUS ANCIENT CITY 17.05.2017

In line with the excursion to Ephesus Ancient City, which is an important cultural heritage of mankind, Our Grade 9 students experienced the spirit and the atmosphere of the Ancient Greek Theatre after watching some short illustrations about “King Midas and the Donkey Ears”, the myth they analysed in their Literature lesson. They looked into the geometric details about the architecture of that period through the Maths project they created on “geometric shapes and calculations”. They also got the chance to reinforce their knowledge through the homework assignment given for their English lesson to take place after the excursion. During the excursion, the students gained information about the historical background of the region through an interesting narration from our tour guide Barış.
