GETTING TO KNOW SEA TURTLES BETTER 07.04.2023

Our ELC and Grade 1 students hosted Prof. Dr. Oguz Turkozan, Head of Zoology at Adnan Menderes University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Biology. In his presentation to our students, Prof. Dr. Oguz Turkozan talked about “what sea turtles do on nesting beaches, how injured sea turtles are taken care of and cured, and how to get them back to their natural habitats as well as nesting, feeding, wintering and migration routes of sea turtles”. With this presentation, our students learned how our actions affect animals and their habitats and what our responsibilities might be in this regard. At the end of the presentation, Prof. Dr. Oguz Turkozan answered the questions of our students.
