FIRST VEGETABLE HARVEST 31.03.2022

Our ELC students plant and look after vegetables in the ELC garden every year. Today, they felt the joy of harvesting the vegetables they planted and looked after such as broccoli, red and white cabbage, curly lettuce, leek, and celery. By participating in this activity, all ELC students observed how vegetables change and develop, and learned how to irrigate and cultivate the soil. Upon the arrival of spring, our students got very excited to harvest and prepare vegetables to eat. They used wheelbarrow to carry the vegetables they harvested to the school cafeteria and gave them to our school’s cook. Then, they ate the vegetables they harvested for lunch.
