EXHIBITION: WHO WE ARE 23.10.2017

Our primary school students shared what they have learnt and produced in their art lessons during their 1st PYP unit “Who We Are” with us. Within this context, Grade 1: While making Claude Monet’s waterlilies, they wrote and drew pictures about themselves on each leaf. Grade 2: They made their self-portraits using collage technique by using fruits and vegetables with the inspiration of Arcimboldo. Grade 3: Inspired by the African mask art, our students made their own masks. Then, with the cooperation of our music teachers, displayed their masks with a dance show spiced up by the African children song that they learnt. Grade 4: Our students showed what they have learnt about the sculptor Alberto Giacometti with the sculptures that they made under his inspiration.
