EXCURSION TO SINTAN CHEMICAL INDUSTRY CORPORATION 31.03.2016

In line with the “Structure of Matter” unit of the Science & Technology lesson, our Grade 7 students went to an excursion to Sintan Chemical Industry Corporation, which is located in Menemen Free Zone, in order to know the chemical industry and its area of use. Our students observed the production stages of the chemicals which are used to soften and tan animal skin, and put it in service. They also saw the recycling units and understood the importance of recycling to our country in line with their unit. After this successful excursion, they reinforced their knowledge by carrying out various activities in the classroom.
