ELC STUDENTS HOSTED THE AUTHOR HASAN KARACA AT OUR SCHOOL 26.04.2023

While covering “Stories” as part of their transdisciplinary theme of “How We Express Ourselves”, our ELC students hosted the author Hasan Karaca at school to draw attention to the subject. Our valuable guest gave information about the books, authors, and illustrators to our students, and talked about the printing houses where the books were reproduced. Also, he told the story of “Balık Kent’in Kaçakları” to our students by using his models. At the end of the story, our students created the hero of the story according to their own perspectives. Our students, who listened to the author with great curiosity and excitement, shared their comments about the book by using the skill of "information exchange", which is the sub-title of thinking skills, one of our learning approaches. At the end of the event, our guest presented the book he read to our students. We would like to thank Mr. Hasan Karaca for this wonderful event.
