DONATIONS FOR THE EDUCATORS OF THE FUTURE 17.12.2016

Işıkkent Parent Teachers’ Associations held the traditional Winter Charity Sale before the new year. Food, decoration items, accessories, organic products, clothes and many more were sold at the sale. The donations collected were transferred to Handan Oktar Education Fund under EÇEV. This fund was initiated by one of our founding administrators, Handan Oktar, who passed away due to leukemia, in 2012 to support faculty of education students in need. Each year, the total amount of money collected from the Winter Charity Sale is donated to this fund. Visitors from all ages found interesting gifts in the sale which attracted intense attention. The children had a great time in the art and creative game workshops. Student clubs and volunteers contributed to the sale to raise awareness and collect donations.
