DISCUSSION ON CHILDREN’S RIGHTS WITH RECEP KUCUK 05.04.2023

While covering the second line of inquiry “Children’s Rights” as part of the unit “Sharing the Planet”, Grade 2 students hosted Recep Kucuk, who works as a Human Rights Expert, in their classrooms. Mr. Kucuk explained children’s rights to kids with his puppet friend and had a talk with our students about being a child in Turkey and in the world. During this event, our students learned about their rights and found answers to their questions while discussing the historical development and importance of children’s rights.
