CREATING SYMBOLS AND HANGING THEM AROUND THE SCHOOL 12.03.2021

In line with the transdisciplinary theme “How We Organize Ourselves”, Grade 1 students looked at the signs and symbols around them to cover the first line of inquiry and the central idea “Signs and symbols are human-made systems”. After learning that the signs and symbols convey us a message, they created symbols about social distance and hygiene rules. Then, they hung them on the corridors, restrooms and school garden. We are proud of them for doing this activity to raise awareness.
