COMMEMORATION OF OUR LEADER AND MARTYRS 19.05.2021

As part of May 19 activities, our Grade 3 students engaged in an inquiry into “why May 19 Commemoration of Ataturk, Youth and Sports Day was given to Turkish youth as a gift” and deepened their knowledge about the meaning and importance of this special day by watching a video. They listened to their teachers telling why youth and sports were important for Ataturk and read Yılmaz Ozdil’s “Ataturk and Sports”. Then, they had fun time reflecting their knowledge through a quiz entitled “May 19 Youth and Sports”. We commemorated Mustafa Kemal and all martyrs who lost their lives in wars with respect and gratitude.
