BERK ERKEK WON THE 49TH PLACE AMONG THE TOP 62 STUDENTS WORLDWIDE 07.05.2021
Our Grade 9 student Berk Erkek placed 49th among the top 62 students, who participated in the International Caribou Mathematics Competition.
Caribou Mathematics is an organization based in Canada, which aims to help students enjoy math as well as solving problems. The Caribou Mathematics Competition is an international online math contest held six times over the school year and each contest is run at the 6 contest levels, Grade 2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, and 11/12. Contest questions and solutions are offered in languages such as English, French, Persian and Chinese. Schools and students who want to participate in the competition from Turkey choose from the languages offered by the organization.
The 6th contest of this year was held for Grade 9/10 on May 6, 2021 with the participation of 1.665 students worldwide. Congratulations to Berk, who placed first among 117 IEK students, and wish him a continued success!
