ART AND JOY ON CHILDREN’S DAY 22.04.2016

After opening their 8th annual art exhibition, Işıkkent students staged a concert with the Izmir Symphony Orchestra for the April 23rd, National Sovereignty and Children’s Day. In their 6th traditional joint concert, 110 primary and middle students shared the stage with the Izmir Symphony Orchestra under the leadership of Conductress Neslihan Erten. The performers sang songs about the day arranged by composer Mahmut Sözer. Işıkkent High School students Kağan Kurtaş, Can Daniel Ricketts and Baran Oruç performed as soloists. The mesmerising concert staged by the primary and middle school student choir received a standing ovation.
