ANALYSING THE PROGRESS IN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AS WELL AS THE PROBLEMS IT MAY CAUSE 16.05.2023

Our HS students attended the event on “Artificial Intelligence” that took place at Izmir Ozel Turk Koleji with the contributions of the Aegean Philosophy Platform. Isikkent Philosophy Club members Ada Karagoz, Aleyna Kempton, Bartu Aslan, Demirhan Akdemir, and the Co-Chair Cansu Kucuk represented our school successfully during workshops on politics, education, social media, marketing, and ethics. In the event, where high schoolers from 30 different schools discussed the application of artificial intelligence in different fields by using philosophical questioning methods, all students reflected on the progress in artificial intelligence and the philosophical problems it might bring while watching the presentation delivered before the workshops. We thank our students for their participation in the event and wish them continued success.
