500 BOOKS SOLD TO HELP ADA 22.04.2021

Our Grade 6 student Zeynep Senocak focused on “Healthy Individuals”, which is one of the sustainable development goals, in her MYP personal project and wrote a story book for children entitled “Ada’nın Elinden Tutalım” (“Let’s Hold Ada’s Hand”) to help a SMA patient, Ada. Then, she attended the live broadcast on Instagram and sold 500 books to support the campaign for Ada. The money collected from this sale will be directly transferred to Ada and the books will be sent to children studying in village schools. Our Grade 10 student Ceylin Kubalı also attended the broadcast to support this campaign. We heartily congratulate both students for the social sensitivity and exemplary behaviour they demonstrated to help Ada. IEK students, teachers and parents also attended the broadcast, which touched everyone, and sent messages to support Ada. This, once again, made us very proud of our Isikkent Family.
