103RD ANNIVERSARY OF MAY 19, COMMEMORATION OF ATATURK, YOUTH AND SPORTS DAY 19.05.2022

May 19th is the day when a collapsed and fallen nation rose from its ashes and took its first step towards the struggle of independence. This day when the foundation of the Republic of Turkey was laid and the fire of freedom was lit, is a milestone for the Turkish nation. It is a festival both for youth and for celebrating our national sovereignty. It is a day to pass Mustafa Kemal’s legacy to the next generations. This year, our Grade 11 students organized the ceremony we held to celebrate the 103rdanniversary of May 19, Commemoration of Ataturk, Youth and Sports Day. During the ceremony, which made all of us very emotional and proud, our students called out to Ataturk and said, “We will never give up on you or your legacy”.
