LIBRARY WEEK WAS CELEBRATED WITH GREAT ENTHUSIASM AT OUR SCHOOL 14.04.2025

At our primary school, Library Week was celebrated from March 24 to 28 with a variety of colorful and educational activities. Our students had the opportunity to express their love for books through creative and engaging events. The week began on Monday, March 24 with an opening presentation by our Library Specialist, Emre Ocaklı. During the presentation, students were asked, “How many books are there in our library?” and submitted their guesses in a jar. The correct answer was revealed at the closing ceremony on March 28. After the presentation, students paraded through the school in costumes they created to represent books they had chosen from the library—some wore themed t-shirts, hats, or carried book-inspired props. That same day, students attended a delightful author talk with Deniz Yavaş, discussing her book “Birds Know Everything”, followed by a book sale. Throughout the week, all classes redesigned their reading corners. The most creative corners were awarded special certificates in recognition of their effort and imagination.
