A PHILOSOPHICAL INQUIRY WITH NURAN DIREK 21.06.2021

IEK Philosophy Club hosted Nuran Direk, the Head of the Department of Philosophy for Children at the Philosophical Society of Turkey, and carried out a philosophical inquiry with her on Sartre’s understanding of freedom. After saying, “Freedom is not being limitless but overcoming the obstacles”, Nuran Direk emphasized that each thought might be criticized but the existence and rights of a human being must be respected because otherwise, living in a society could not be possible. We thank Nuran Direk, who facilitated the inquiry on respecting human as well as hate crimes and human rights, very much for her valuable contributions.
