A DAY FULL OF ART FOR OUR PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS 25.10.2024

This week, all our primary school students visited the “Image, Text, Sign - Joan Miró” exhibition at Arkas Art Center as part of their visual arts lesson. One of the most iconic figures of 20th century art, Joan Miró's works in different artistic disciplines such as drawing, painting, sculpture and weaving, they had the opportunity to watch his works, understand his story with a guide and look at his works from a different perspective. They spent a day full of art by taking an in-depth journey into Miró's creative world through 74 works produced by the artist between 1924 and 1981 and belonging to the Portuguese State Collection of Contemporary Art.
