4TH GRADERS WORKED ON THE THEME “THE WAY WE ORGANIZE OURSELVES” 16.01.2025

As fourth graders, while working on our 3rd Unit titled “How We Organize Ourselves”, we explored the concepts of production and consumption in depth. We reflected on topics such as the balance between production and consumption, the distinction between wants and needs, shopping methods, and the behaviors of conscious consumers. We conducted research, discussed these issues, and reached insightful conclusions. We examined various budget structures and topics, ranging from our own allowances and family budgets to the national economy and the balance of production and consumption. While analyzing the role of our wants and needs in our lives, we also discovered their place in overall production. At the end of our unit, we had the opportunity to conduct an interview with Şule BİLİR from our school’s accounting department to learn more about the school’s income-expense balance.
