ONLINE DISCUSSION 22.12.2020

Grade 10 students participated in a discussion in line with the theme “Orientation in Place and Time”, which has been covered in the History class. One team argued that the janissaries had a significant power that kept the Ottoman Empire alive while the other team explained how the janissaries weakened the Ottoman Empire with the authority they held. Both teams were evaluated according to their knowledge of the subject as well as their persuasion skills, communication skills and language skills. They contributed to peer learning while discussing and competing with each other.
