BEING A CHILD IN A DIGITAL WORLD 15.01.2021

On Friday, January 15, our students discussed "Being a Child in the Digital World" with the Information Technologies Specialist Mr. Beyhan Payaslı. During the webinar, which took place in two sessions, Mr. Payaslı met with the 5th and 6th grades in the first and then 7th and 8th-grade students. Before the discussions, to determine the different needs of age characteristics, the students first filled out a questionnaire. After then, they listened to the presentation prepared for them and made a short quiz. A significant part of the session was devoted to questions and answers. Children in such an extraordinary pandemic period, as they attend distance learning and their schools are on screens, they questioned, asked, and discussed being a child in this digital world. Especially in this period, they learned important information about the possibilities, risks, and how to keep themselves safe, and they went over what they learned. We think that the meeting that took place interactively with our teachers' and students' participation is very beneficial. As a continuation of these meetings, we expect the participation of all middle school parents in our forum, where we will discuss the issue of "Being the Parent of Children Living in the Digital World in the Period of Pandemic", which we will hold on Tuesday, January 19 at 17:30.
